>About the exhibition Night Walk Home by Keren Goldberg
> על התערוכה ציפורים ליליות מאת קרן גולדברג
Night Walk Home continues Maymon’s working method of deconstructing and reconstructing images using found photographs and page spreads from art-history books or magazines. Using the collage to disconnect the image from its original source, Maymon places it in a new and charged status. In the exhibition, he merges together existing visual texts with additional spheres of content. This is Maymon's first exhibition at Almacén in collaboration with Fireflies Project.
Rami Maymon (b.1976, Tel Aviv, Israel) lives and works in Tel Aviv. He gained a BFA and an MFA at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, and studied at the Cooper Union of Art and Science in New York.
